♣ Mel asked:

I need the WORDS not the Japanese symbols.
Example: “Jennifer” is turned into “Kunie Enoki” (or something like that)
I already know how to read the symbols, but I don’t know this word my friend wants to know. I don’t know how to say it basicly. it’s hard to explain.

Well why don’t you just learn to read the hiragana symbols?

They only make one sound so it’s fairly easy.

And then you can use any translator. As long as it doesn’t come up as Kanji.

I use a university online dictionary that translates word by word, listing definitions in Japanese text, romaji, and english translation.
